Founded on 17 years inside the dealership finance world, Tristan Emanuel, Founder of Automotive Buyers Agents, saw the same gap play out time and again. As a Senior Business Manager and Finance & Insurance leader across premium dealership networks — and later as a finance broker in his own right — Tristan helped thousands of clients secure approval for vehicle finance. But approval was never the finish line. Once the money was sorted, clients were left to navigate the search, negotiation, and purchase entirely on their own, often walking straight back into the same dealership pressure the finance process was meant to protect them from.

Realising there was a real gap between being approved and actually finding the right vehicle, Tristan set out to close it — building a dedicated buyer advocacy service rather than another finance or sales operation.

Drawing on nearly two decades of lender relationships, dealership process knowledge, and an insider's view of how F&I departments actually operate, Tristan channelled his expertise into representing buyers, not dealers — because securing the money was never the hard part.
